History About The Women's Connection

The Women’s Connection was founded in 1997 by Mary Jo Gasdorf, SC. She opened a neighborhood center on the corner of Glenway and Gilsey Avenue, where we started as a women's referral service. In our first year, we partnered with over 200 women, connecting them with contacts and resources to help improve their lives.

As we got to know more and more women in the Price Hill area, we began to see a need to expand our services. From the introduction of women’s support groups, to the addition of services that cover children and families, to our expansion into a new Learning Center, our center now partners with over 3000 participants a year!

We are fortunate to have a talented and dedicated board of 15 members, 7 staff, and over 200 volunteers to support our services, programs, and participants.
